The company
Nearly two centuries of German construction history have been influenced by steidle - only a small number of companies can look back to such a long existance in the South of Germany.
In 1823 the business was founded as a carpentry enterprise in Sigmaringen. Nowadays steidle is a well-known and considerable enterprise of the building industry and of the raw material industry in the state of Baden-Württemberg. Up to now steidle has been a family business and employs at present about 200 employees. Since 1988 Hans Steidle has been the responsible manager of the enterprise.
